Episode 60: Grumpypants
by Bridget on Aug.11, 2009, under podcasts

It’s episode 60, where we start off by talking about cool stuff and then suddenly become that one old guy always telling the neighborhood kids to get off his lawn.
- Shane has a bad ass tattoo! Also, his skin is falling off! Gross!
- Poltergeist and Aliens are pantscrappingly scary
- Movie theater shenanigans – fight or flight?
- Reality shows insult our intelligence!
- Something else I don’t remember!

Ben Folds!!!! {{{{{{{Emergency Pants}}}}}}}}
I {heart} you so much!
Now, what is this about an old man yelling at the clouds? I need a link.
Fabulous episode!!! And Bridget, I have to tell you — I have to get Amy to tell me all about a scary movie before I can go see it. I’m a weenie. Scary movies that are too scary give me nightmares!

Hey Bay!
The Old Man Yells at Cloud comes from The Old Man and the Key episode of The Simpsons. Grandpa Simpson is getting his driver’s license renewed and when they want to take his picture, he asks if they could just use this picture from the paper:

Random and absurd, two of my favorite things.
the best part? He notices the same cloud outside the window of the DMV and shakes his fist at it again. SO GOOD!
Also, I am a nerd.

That picture is the first time I saw it in a long time. It’s even funnier than I remember.

Good times at the crazy long day of work… at least an hour’s worth. Thanks! Also, Bridget that family from Little People, Big World is in my hometown and I’ve seen the mom around at Target and such (yearrs before the show). AND in the TLC special before the series you can see the house I built in the background during the soccer game. If I’d've knows I’d've pressed my butt cheeks up against the upstairs window or something. Oh, well.
